Home Sweet Home
It feels so good to be home. Despite the heat, the humidity, the crowds, the traffic jams. It's still home. Sitting in my room, sometimes I wonder how in the world I managed to study and prepare for all those major exams in this oven.. seriously..
the first thing I did when I came back is sleep.. for like 12 hours.. and for the past week, I've been sleeping 10 hours a day. FEELS SO GOOD! hehe.. making up for all those sleep-deprived days in perth..
finished watching hana yori dango for the 2nd time.. =) I think I'm really addicted to this whole story and plot.. now watching the korean version (Boys Over Flowers), with a supposedly much better looking cast and acting than the other 2 versions (Taiwanese - Meteor Garden, Japanese - Hana Yori Dango).. To be honest, Lee Min Ho IS the best looking version of Doumyoji so far.. he reminds me SOO much of Jerry Yen though.. just even better looking.. but somehow I still prefer the Japanese version of the show.. this Korean version seems to be like a combination of the Taiwanese version and the Japanese version.. so there was really no surprises in the whole plot at all.. at least the Japanese one was rather different from the Taiwanese version so I did not have that I-can-expect-what-is-going-to-happen-next feeling when I was watching it.. But well not just Doumyoji was looking the best here, Soujiro and Akira also looked much better.. somehow I feel that the other versions seemed to have picked not-so-good-looking actors for that 2 characters so that they would not steal the limelight away from Doumyoji and Hanazawa Rui..
But I don't like the Hanazawa Rui from this Korean version.. He does not give that Hanazawa Rui feel -_- and he looks like a thinner version of Bae Yong Jun -_- Hanazawa Rui is a very special character to me, so it's quite a big disappointment.. Of course, I guess Doumyoji would be the one in most girls' dreams. But Hanazawa Rui, who's always there for Makino, especially at times when Doumyoji is caught up in his own world (including that time when he decided to dao her).. almost makes it seem as if Hanazawa Rui is but a babysitter for Makino when the master isn't around.. and that really makes my heart ache.. especially when he starts liking her but have to give her up when Doumyoji decides it's time to stop daoing her and she, just like most other girls would, chooses Doumyoji.. 悲しいね... 正直に言えば、私の人生に‘花澤類’がいる... それから、この人物は私にとってとても大切だね..
ok enough rambling about dramas.. the past semester has been eventful yet uneventful at the same time.. right now I'm just glad for this 1 month break before the next semester, which will be much more hectic and crazy.. don't even want to think about it right now..

P.S. that Korean version of Makino keeps wearing skirts soo short I wonder how she keeps herself from zao geng-ing.. that even includes her uniform skirt.. it's as short as the skirts of that 3 bitches.. tsk tsk tsk.. and the stuff she wears are so nice it's hard to believe she's supposed to be poor.. unlike the Japanese Makino, who wears her uniform all the time haha! ok ok enough enough..
